There are no pre-requisites for the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA®) certification. Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA®) is a prerequisite to more advanced level Cisco certifications, such as the CCNP®, CCNP Security® CCNP Voice® etc., meaning that candidates wishing to go on to the more advanced Cisco certifications first need to successfully pass the CCNA®.
Required Exams are
1) 640-802 CCNA (Single exam)
OR
2) 640-822 ICND1 and 640-816 ICND2 (Two exams)
